Do you recall the years on campus, when you were inspired by the words of wisdom and passion？Do the beautiful peach blossoms of Spring around Weiming Lake ever come into your dreams at night？Do you think of the days when you ascended the staircases to knowledge in the library? Do you remember the moment when you felt truly incorporated to this university and decided to become part of the school’s glorious legacy? Your name has been the treasure of this university from the moment you step in, and your stories in this campus shall be passed down from generation to generation.
Generations of talented and motivated foreign students have made great contributions to our education undertakings and have helped spread the spirit of PKU. The genuine connections we’ve established and the affection we’ve received from our teachers shall never be forgotten. We share the same name because of who we were, who we are, and who we’ll always be. We are citizens of PKU, and we ought to cherish this identity.
Development is built on the basis of heritage, while contribution is the starting point for the later harvest. That’s why we established the “International Alumni Fund”, which is a platform for PKU grads to give feedback for the benefit of future PKU citizens. We have diversified donation ways and fund use, and every donation will be much appreciated.
There is an old saying, “Present gifts of roses to others with a remaining fragrance. ”We hope that Peking University is where your heart is, wherever you are in the future. May the feelings of attachment for your alma mater be deep and lasting.
We believe that every little makes a difference. Your donation would be mainly used to continuously support international cooperation and exchanges, subsidize foreign students and international alumni:
1) Organize activities for international alumni
2) Establish scholarships for overseas students
3) Build recreation center for overseas students
4) Improve the teaching and internship for overseas students
5) Promote the international exchange for overseas and Chinese students
6) Strengthen the basic facilities and allow further construction on campus
