The exhibition of awarded works of the student photography contest – China and the World in My Eyes – was held in Peking University Hall during the 10th Peking University International Cultural Festival (ICF) on October 19th, 2013. Lots of Chinese exchange students and international students of Peking University took part in the contest.
The aim of the contest was to encourage students to express their affection for China and other host or home countries and to develop their global visions, which can boost cultural exchange between china and other countries. Fourteen pictures, including 6 of international students’ and 8 of Chinese exchange students’, were awarded by the PKU Youth Amateurs’ Society of Photography.
“Harmony of Human and Nature,” the work of a Korean student Jang Hyun-Jin, contains beautiful scenery of the old town of Lijiang and Yulong Snow Mountain. He illustrated that he could see the harmonious combination of historic heritage and magnificent natural landscape, which brings him great impressions and unforgettable memory.
