Tanzhe Temple (潭柘寺), lying in the west area of Beijing City, was built in 316 A.D. in the Chinese West Jin (西晋) Dynasty. It was the first Buddhist temple built when Buddhism entered the Beijing area, as the folk saying goes, “Tanzhe Temple built first, and then there was the Beijing city”.
Peking University will arrange the visit to Tanzhe Temple for international students on the afternoon of June 4, 2016. Seats limited, first come, first served!
