Cooperative Programs
Peking University believes in open co-operation, encouraging international communication and collaboration through its partnerships with respected universities and institutions from around the world. Together, short-term programs (as part of the International Partnership Project) have been designed for large numbers of outstanding students from these institutions to study at Peking University. These programs are aimed at promoting social and cultural interaction between China and the world, thereby contributing to progress in global understanding and peace.
PKU short-term programs offer a myriad of study-in-China options for students and professionals, with the language, focus, and duration of studies varying between programs. Programs range from two weeks to one year, and there are two main program models to choose from: One is an open platform that is designed to accommodate applicants from all over the world, and the other platform is tailored to meet the needs of PKU's partner universities and institutions. Of the PKU short-term programs, the most notable programs are the PKU Summer School International, the LSE-PKU Summer School, the PKU Chinese Language Summer School, the PKU Four week Spring Chinese Program, On the Road to China English-Instructed Fall-Semester program and Succeeding in China Internship Program. With a grand strategy of openness and cooperation, the PKU short-term programs have established mutually beneficial partnerships with world-class universities, including Oxford University, Cambridge University, Stanford University, Sydney University, Nanyang Technological University, Waseda University, and renowned educational institutions, such as CIEE.
Peking University hopes to work with other notable overseas universities and institutions to create many more programs where students can study at the university. We welcome interested parties to contact us.
