Eligible Applicants must be:

1. According to the notice of the China Scholarship Council, this extension, in principle, is for Ph.D. students who are supposed to graduate in July 2022, but intend to apply for an extension of the scholarship. And the study duration of the applicant shall not exceed 5 years;

2. In order to apply for the extension, one must first complete the procedure of extending the enrollment in his/her department/school;

3. In order to apply for the extension, one must pass the comprehensive examination and complete the thesis proposal;

4. To be eligible for application, the applicant needs to participate in and pass the annual evaluation.

Application Deadline:

Please submit your application by email to ischolarship@pku.edu.cn before June 6, 2022. Overdue will be deemed as automatic waiver.

Email Title should be named as: Extension of Application for 2022 Chinese Government Scholarship Students (Ph.D. students) + student number
