All internationals students’ dormitories have an Internet connection. You may also access the Internet at the Computer Service Center (计算机中心), the Library, and the Internet cafes on campus. Peking University often issues important information and news on the website, and we recommend that you regularly check the latest information.

In the international students' dormitories, the Internet connection is automatically established. This means that when a computer connects to the schools network, both the IP and DNS addresses will be obtained automatically, and no special setup is required to browse China domestic websites.

If you want to gain access to international websites (国际网), you will need to open an International Internet account at the Computer Service Center. You need to present your Campus Card to the staff and pay a monthly Internet fee. If you have a problem with your room’s Internet connection, please contact the Computer Service Center.
