The language program is taught on PKU's main campus, which puts it right at the academic and intellectual center of China. I found chatting with PKU students to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my trip: PKU students come from all parts of China, are super smart,and some of the most interesting you can meet.

    On and off the PKU campus, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to explore. I had a great time meeting there with my classmates to for study groups, or meet with a language partner to discuss Chinese grammar, and life inside and outside of China.

    PKU's location and student life are the program's trump cards: Language students who dive into the offerings on and off campus will fly home not just with better language skills, but with new friendships and a better understanding of life in China today.
