According to the new regulations by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Education, the China Government Scholarship (CGS) will no longer provide any textbook allowance, medical subsidy, or settling-in allowance, effective September, 2014.
The new monthly stipend is as follows:

The International Students Office will disburse the additional stipend amount to all CGS scholars from September, 2014 to March, 2015. Please bring along your student ID card and register in-person at the International Students Office from April 13
th, 2015 to April16
th, 2015. The office is located at the New Sun Student Center, Room 329, from 8:30-11:30 or 13:30-17:00. If you fail to register during this period, you will not receive the additional stipend amount. Registration during this period will also count as signing in for next month’s allowance.

The additional stipend amount will be transferred to your Bank of China account on April 25
th, 2015.
Should students require any medical subsidy, please call the 24h hotline 4008105119-1, or log on to
www.lxbx.net for more information. The school will no longer be responsible for reimbursement of any medical expenditure.
The monthly stipend for students in the following programs is unchanged; hence there will be no need to register at the International Students Office:
