1. Criteria and Eligibility
⑴ Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens;
⑵Already admitted as a graduate student at Peking University for academic year of 2014-2015 and will pursue an academic Master/PhD degree.
★ Students enrolled in the following programs are non-eligible:
I. A Joint Degree program;
II. Majoring in one’s native language or a third language (French, English, etc.)
⑶ Receiving no other scholarship funds from China.

2. Value of the Scholarship

• Tuition fees;
• Living stipend and fee for basic learning materials are provided;
• Free accommodation (single rooms for doctor candidates, twin rooms for master candidates);
• A One-off subsidy for settlement is provided;
• Outpatient medical service and Comprehensive Medical Insurance for International Students in China is provided.

3.Required Application Materials
⑴ Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (in Chinese or English). Applicants should visit http://laihua.csc.edu.cn and submit the application online, then print out two copies of the form. The application will be invalid without online application.

⑵ Notarized photocopy of highest diploma a / graduate certificate / degree certificate attached with English translations.
⑶ Statement of not receiving other Chinese scholarship funds.
Note: incomplete application materials will not be processed. Application materials will not be returned.

4.Time and Site of Application
Time: From April 14 to April 18, 2014.
★We do not accept the applications after deadline.
Note: Students who have not yet received the admission from the department can submit the application first. The election of scholarship will be based on the result of admission.

5.Others
⑴ Scholarship students must take the annual evaluation;
⑵ Scholarship students in principle could not change their major or study period.
