The annual evaluation for Chinese Government Scholarship holders is ongoing. According to the rules, all international students who receive the Chinese Government Scholarship are to participate and pass an annual evaluation to continue receiving the scholarship for the next academic year.
The following two categories of students are REQUIRED to participate in the evaluation:
1. Chinese Government Scholarship holders who will still be enrolled in September 2018;
2. Students who originally planned to graduate in July 2018 but have already applied for or plan to apply for an extension of their scholarship.
l Undergraduate, master’s, PhD students, and senior visiting scholars should prepare the following three documents:
(i.)
Form for Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship Status (中国政府奖学金年度评审表)
(ii.)
Annual Evaluation of Chinese Government Scholarship – Annual Evaluation Form for Departments (中国政府奖学金院系评审意见表);
(iii.) A transcript
l Fill in the first two forms and submit them, along with a transcript, to
the office of the department or school which student is studying in before April 18, 2018.
Note: Undergraduates' transcripts should be issued and stamped by their department/school
Master's and PhD students’(transcript should be printed by graduate school’s self-help printers found on the first floor of the New Sun Student Center)
l Pre-University students, general visiting scholars (including those who are currently taking Chinese language preparatory classes) need to fill in the “Form for Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship Status” (中国政府奖学金年度评审表) ONLY. This form should be submitted to
the International Students Office, Room 218 before April 18, 2018.
l Students who plan to apply for an extension of the scholarship should bring the required documents to
the International Students Office (Room 328) before April 20, 2018.
Those who fail to participate in the evaluation process without valid reason will be forfeited from the Chinese Government Scholarship from August 2018 onwards. Please pass the message.
