Online booking for some of the existing housing resources at Global Village (GV) is available to international students (including 2020 freshman students and students who are already enrolled).

I. Basic information

1.Location: Global Village, Peking University (GV is an on-campus accommodation facility). Please refer to the website (https://pkugv.pku.edu.cn/)for more detailed information.

2.Accommodation booking website:www.studyatpku.com(please book according to the reservation process). Given that the available rooms are limited, the booking will be conducted on a rolling basis, and a certain amount of deposit is required.

3.Reservation time (Beijing time):

(1) Currently enrolled students: from 9:00 a.m., August 27, 2020 (Thursday)

(2) New students: from 9:00 a.m., September 1, 2020 (Tuesday)

II. Booking procedures

1.Check the information on room type, room price and the number of rooms available.

2.Based on your personal preference and provided room information, select a room type, and submit the reservation application (along with your personal information) within the opening hours of the reservation system.

3.Wait for the staff to process the application.When “Status: confirmed” is displayed in the system, please “pay the advance deposit”within three working days to complete the reservation process. Booking applications that fail to pay the deposit on time will beautomatically cancelled.

4.The reservation fee will not be returned when the reservation and payment are successfully made.

III. Reminders

1. Procedure for entering Global Village:

According to the overall epidemic prevention and control requirements of Peking University, admission to the GV on the day of moving-in must meet the following conditions:

(1) Negative nucleic acid test result in the past 7 days, normal body temperature, valid health kit record and itinerary code.

(2)ONLYstudents themselves are allowed to enter GV (GV staff will assist in the delivery of luggage)

2.Prevention and control requirements during the stay in GV

Global Village is subject to campus management regulations. At present, report and approval mechanism is adopted for entering and leaving the school (GV). In the follow-up, timely and relevant adjustments will be made in accordance with the situation of epidemic prevention and control work as well as the overall arrangement of the university.

3. Possible follow-up booking

This is the first batch of accommodation booking. The second batch of booking will be held according to the situation. Specific arrangement will be announced in further notice.
