Peking University (PKU) has a well-established scholarship funding system, which provides outstanding international students with relevant support related to their studies, accommodation, research, and academic field trips. PKU International Student Scholarship 2022 for prospective postgraduate degree students (Master, Ph.D.) is now calling for application. Eligible applicants are encouraged to read the relevant requirements thoroughly and submit specific applications to the PKU International Students Division and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) in time.
PKU International Students Scholarship Scheme applies on an ‘One-Time Application, Multiple Selection’ mechanism. Each applicant needs only complete the scholarship application once. PKU will make necessary reviews and selections accordingly when needs. Prospective students who are interested are all encouraged to apply in a timely manner. Applications shall be reviewed automatically when other scholarships are available in the future. Applicants are requested to keep in constant communication and pay close attention to the email notification from PKU International Students Division.
Note: Prospective students studying for undergraduate programmes do not need to submit a scholarship application separately. PKU will award relevant scholarships to admitted undergraduate students, based on the final admission results.

Application Procedure |
1. Complete the PKU Scholarship Online Application (From now to April 5, 24:00, Beijing Time) Process： 1. Login to（http://www.studyatpku.com） 2. Select "Home page" - "Scholarship Application" - "Prospective Student Scholarship Application" 3. Fill in the information and submit it
2. Expected email notification （April 11-13） PKU will organize a scholarship committee to carry out a special evaluation, and send an email to the short-listed students for the first round of scholarship evaluation. Please pay attention to your email and keep in touch. |
3. Complete the application on the CSC System（before April 20） Applicants who have passed the university’s scholarship review are required to complete the scholarship application registration in the CSC system after receiving the pre-admission notice issued by PKU. Note:
1. Applicants of the Chinese Government Scholarship, please pay attention to the email notification between April 11-13 (the first batch of pre-admission materials will be sent by the PKU International Students Division. The pre-admission materials are among the necessary materials to complete the required CSC application in a later stage); please upload relevant materials on the CSC system and submit the "Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form" in time. Those who fail to complete the CSC application form in time will be deemed to have given up the scholarship.
2. Applicants who are not selected for the Chinese Government Scholarship Program will be automatically reviewed by the other two scholarships, and there is no need to resubmit the application.
3. Each applicant can only receive one scholarship in the end.
4. Applicants must ensure that the submitted application materials are authentic and valid. If any false materials provided, applicant’s scholarship qualification will be cancelled after verification; if the circumstances are serious, the official admission qualification for the current year will be cancelled.
5. PKU reserves the right to require applicants to submit additional supplementary materials.
6. If the required supplementary materials are not submitted following the relevant requirements or are submitted after the deadline, the application will be deemed invalid.
7. The final results of the scholarship are expected to be posted on the website of the PKU International Students Division during July-August 2022.
