The annual evaluation for Chinese Government Scholarship holders has begun. According to the CGS management regulations, all international students receiving the Chinese Government Scholarship must attend and pass the annual evaluation in order to receive the scholarship for the next academic year.

The following categories of students are required to participate in the annual evaluation on time:

1. Students who plan to continue receiving the Chinese government scholarship after September 2022;

2. Students who were supposed to graduate in July 2022, but intend to apply for an extension of the scholarship. 

3. Students who failed to pass the 2021 annual evaluation, and have been suspended from their scholarships qualification or have had part of their scholarships reduced, must participate in the annual evaluation, if they wish to resume their scholarships.

According to the CGS management regulations, this year’s annual evaluation must be conducted on the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login . Please complete the self-assessment section according to the "Guideline for Chinese Government Scholarship Annual Evaluation 2022 (Student Self-Assessment), please check your email." before May 23, 2022.

Students who fail to participate in the annual evaluation without a valid reason will be forfeited from the Chinese Government Scholarship from August 2022 onwards.

According to the relevant requirements issued by China Scholarship Council, this year’s annual evaluation grades students quantitatively from morality, academic records, study/research attitude, and activity performance aspects. The rules and scoring details for the annual evaluation of the Chinese Government Scholarship holders studying at Peking University 2022 (trial) will be emailed to every scholarship holder, please contact the International Students Division if you did not receive the email.
