Dear international students:
Warm greetings to all! As the fall semester of 2022 approaches, Peking University (PKU) Zhongguanyuan Global Village International Students Dormitory is now providing rooms for international students to make online reservations. The details are as follows.
1. Booking Information
1.1 Eligibility: full-time international students studying at PKU with no on-campus living arrangements. If students are not sure whether there is an accommodation arrangement, they may contact us via email to confirm.
1.2 Location: Outside the southeast gate of the PKU main campus . For further information, please refer to the website of Peking University Zhongguanyuan Global Village International Students Dormitory: https://pkugv.pku.edu.cn/
1.3 Booking website: Log on to www.studyatpku.com and follow the dormitory booking procedures. There’s only a limited number of rooms and reservation will be conducted on a rolling basis.
1.4 Booking period ( Beijing Standard Time)
1.4.1 Current students: From 9:00 am on August 15, 2022 (Monday), until reservations are full.
1.4.2 New students: From 9:00 am on August 17, 2022 (Wednesday), until reservations are full.
2. Booking Procedures:
2.1 Check the information on room type, pricings, the number of rooms available and other relevant information.
2.2 Students may select the desired room based on their personal preferences and the number of rooms. After selection, please submit the reservation application (along with the student’s personal information) within the booking deadlines of the reservation system.
2.3 Wait for the staff to process the application. When “Status: confirmed” is displayed in the system, please pay the required advance deposit within 3 working days to complete the reservation. Booking applications that were not paid in time will automatically be cancelled.
2.4 After successful booking and payment, if the student fails to check-in on time, the deposit will not be refunded. Those who cannot check-in due to reasonable issues such as COVID-19 must provide an explanation of their situation in written form to PKU Zhongguanyuan Global Village with supporting materials in advance.
3. Relevant Requirements:
According to the relevant epidemic prevention and control requirements and the current situation of Zhongguanyuan Global Village, admission to the Global Village on the day of moving-in will only be allowed for the resident students themselves, and the students must meet the following conditions:
3.1 Inform the staff of the arrival on campus in advance. International students must declare their arrival before coming to Beijing. They can arrive in Beijing after receiving an approval. Degree students should report to the staffs of their department or school; non-degree students should report to the staff in charge at the International Students Division.
3.2 Update information on time. When checking-in, students must go through the accommodation registration procedure at the front desk. Fill in and update the information on the [Epidemic Control and Prevention] module of the “Study Abroad Assistant” APP (website to download “Study Abroad Assistant” APP and filling method are attached).
3.3 Comply with disciplinary requirements. Firstly, abide by Chinese laws and regulations and Peking University discipline and university rules; secondly, consciously implement relevant epidemic prevention and control requirements, which are subject to the requirements of the department and Zhongguanyuan Global Village; thirdly, pay the full accommodation fee on time, and abide by the management regulations of Zhongguanyuan Global Village.
